Secret Stanley is the name of the band of the month in this Algazara capsule of #MúsicaÓsea. This musical trio is originally from Monterrey, Nuevo León that stands out for its experimental production similar to postrock and progressive metal.
The guys at Secreto Stanley have worked over three years to promote their debut EP titled MoreHuman this October, with a very well-kept mastering, as well as with a musical development in progress in which they begin to compose their first tracks to discover their own style.
The recording consists of 6 tracks in which we can appreciate the great work of the bass on each of the tracks, marked by clear progressive metal trends. The drums and guitar have an effusive step that refers to the energy of rumble throughout the album in which we can perceive the versatility and creativity of each track.
It should be noted that on the sixth track there is a collaboration of the band with the bassist Kello González (Parazit),who has the role with his synths, thus showing witty and enjoying the production by making it very enjoyable.
It’s definitely an album that won’t bore you while you’re working during confinement or, if you’re resting, it will be an EP that will relax you to continue the activities of the circumstances in which we are living.
Congratulations on the work that these northerners are doing and we hope that the second material they are preparing will have a dynamism and group work as well executed as this one.
Brilliant Mexican instrumental trio of post rock, using layered textures of atmospheric, cinematographic, progressive and metal.
Mas Humano is a very well structured album with creative melodies in chords, riffs, twisted and twisted by two basses that are intertwined between the base and solo in an amazing way with a richness never seen before of performance and resourcefulness, guided by an exquisite and vigorous drums .
Innovative, creative, technical, and competent translates this album with mastery, a delight for lovers of good music.
Anxious for the second album, it was a privilege to appreciate this preciousness, the band’s success.
